My Story
I’m a professional, award-winning country songwriter from the foothills of North Georgia, raised in a close-knit family where country music was a way of life. Influenced by legends like Charley Pride, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, and Johnny Cash, I developed a deep passion for authentic country storytelling. Today, I blend classic country roots with modern Nashville-style production to create radio-ready songs for artists, publishers, and producers. I stay closely connected to emerging trends in the country music industry, keeping a pulse on where today’s sound is headed.
At seventeen, I put music on hold to serve in the U.S. Army, gaining life experience, perspective, and a strong sense of pride for this country and its veterans. Those real-world experiences continue to shape the honesty and emotion behind my songwriting.
For over twenty years, I’ve been writing and developing original country songs that reflect real life — from love and heartbreak to the everyday moments listeners connect with most. Let The Music Begin
My single, “No Flag Higher,” is a deeply personal tribute to my Army brothers and sisters who never made it home. The song quickly connected with listeners, approaching two million streams on Spotify and inspiring pride in our nation’s flag and the sacrifices behind it. It was also recognized as a semi-finalist for ISC Song of the Year. Another single, “Shiftin’ Gears,” earned semi-finalist honors in Nashville’s Unsigned Only Song Competition, further highlighting my songwriting on a national stage.
In both 2025 and 2026, I took first place in the American Songwriter Contest, a milestone that solidified my path as a professional country songwriter. My song “Let It Ring” was also recorded and is bein released by country artist Megan Knight, bringing my work to audiences across Nashville and beyond.
